The K10 Geothermal PTS tool has been designed
to record Pressure/Temperature/Spinner data
in a high temperature geothermal well. The
K10 Geothermal PTS tool is available in
a memory or surface readout (SRO) configuration.
The K10 Geothermal PTS can operate downhole
for up to 6 hours at 300C. The electronic
and battery section is encased in a pressure
housing, which thermally protects it from
high temperature geothermal temperatures.
The pressure transducers senses wellbore
pressure through a capillary tube, while
the external fast response platinum resistive
temperature device (RTD) sensor remains
exposed to the wellbore for accurate and
fast response temperature sensing and recording.
Interchangeable flowmeters and impellers
allow you to choose what is best suited
for the flow conditions.
The K10 Geothermal PTS tool utilizes a
proprietary electronic memory recording
system that allows for redundant memory.
This design allows the data to be recorded
onto 4 Flash memory components to increase
data reliability. The low power design allows
you to operate this tool using only 1 “AA”
lithium battery.
The Kuster 2007 software was designed to
do more than interface with our tools, it
is a way to create custom Excel Gradient
reports and manage battery usage. All within
one easy to use software package with multiple
language display options.
The K10 Geothermal PTS is manufactured
from materials that are meet NACE MRO175.
