The KPG Pressure Recorder will provide reliable, accurate, and cost effective bottom hole pressure measurements under static or dynamic reservoir conditions in tubing, in the annulus, or in the open hole.
The KPG uses the principle of the multiple helical coil bourdon tube. It has been used for over 50 years and provides rugged, dependable operation.
The clock is used to regulate the travel of the chart carrier through the lead screw, lead nut and push rods. The recording section of the KPG transmits the rotation of the bourdon tube to the stylus shaft which is connected to the stylus assembly, rotating within the chart carrier. The stylus assembly scribes a mark on a coated chart within the chart carrier.
The pressure element responds to fluid pressure acting on the inside of the bourdon tube which causes it to rotate.
The KPG pressure gauge complete includes: Temperature compensated pressure element, HP clock, recorder, oil trap, thermometer well, wireline socket, standard calibration table and instruction manual.
The KPG is also sold separately as a clock, recorder, and pressure element. Kuster Company can customize gauges for your particular application. Also available are supplies and accessories including; field kits, carrying cases, charts, thread lube, and spare parts kits.
